SAFARIS AND BIRDWATCHING The Paramo and the Venezuelan

- Very early morning breakfast . - Further south. Wildlife and Bird observation from the side of the road walking and driving by van. - Return for Lunch and a siesta in our private camp - 4 hours Boat Ride, wildlife observation. Sure animals include, Pink river dolphins, Iguanas, Turtles, Capybara, Howler Monkeys, Caymans, Snakes ( inc. Anacondas, from December to May ), different fish and more birds than any other part of the Llanos. Possible animals: Giant Anteater, Deer, Jaguar, Ocelot, Jaguarundi, Tamandua, Pecari, Capuchin Monkeys, Giant Amazon river Otters and others. - Piranha fishing (and eating) - Supper and Overnight (Hammocks) at small fisher shelter (in the jungle, only in the dry season ! ) Campfire atmosphere and all kind of strange jungle sounds

3:
- Breakfast. - Wildlife and bird observation from the boat. (around 2 hours). - Lunch - Van transport to Barinas. - Sightseeing through the upper llanos and the foothills. - Swimming and relaxing in the refreshing and crystal clear Acequia River and more!. - Supper and overnight at "Campamento de Aventura Arassari Trek" (Beds).

4:
- Breakfast - 1 - 2 hours hike through foothill scenery (tropical rainforest) with the majestuous Sierra Nevada and the highest peaks of Venezuela on the background. More birdwatching. - 1 - 2 hours tubing down the Acequias river, one of the cleanest and most scenic in all Venezuela. In the rainy season Rafting the Acequias river (class 2-3). - Lunch at Arassari Trek adventure camp. - By van 1 hour back to Barinas (03:00 pm) / 3 and a half hours to Merida. (08:00 pm)
